Minutes from April meeting read. Minutes accepted.

Treasurer’s Report

Balances as per treasurer’s report of 27 May, 2003. Report accepted.

Shirt Committee

Chief Crowell reported. MCPO Creighton will send out a solicitation via his bang list. Deadline for ordering will be June 15^th.

Old Business

Check for $250.00 to the Salvation Army Summer Camp given to MCPO Creighton to pass along to Salvation Army.

New Business

Cookout for last CPO Academy Reserve class scheduled for June 9.

MCPO Creighton reported on Academy’s preparations for upcoming CG Day. Scheduled for August 1. Active duty will be free. Dependents will pay a nominal fee.

CPO Crowell purchased a trophy for the Special Olympics Softball team. Paid $68.90

Date for next Special Olympics Softball Tournament needs to be decided on. Tentative schedule for second weekend in August.

EPOQ at the Academy. MCPO Creighton noted that the CG Exchange has dropped as a sponsor, and was looking for CPOA to provide a $50.00 cash award to the EPOQ.

Good of the Order

MCPO Creighton is soliciting for furniture and electronic donations to the new Chief’s Mess.

MCPO Don Gauthier (ret) will be changing his affiliation to Southeastern Connecticut Chapter.

Next meeting: 27 June, 2003. Place TBD.
