1155 Meeting commenced with Pledge of Allegiance
Minutes from October meeting read and accepted.
Read correspondence from CPO McCarthy and family for donation to JDRF
Treasurer’s Report was read and accepted.
President discussed line items for next year’s budget; would like to approve by January meeting.
Netted $2,000.00 for Windjammers.
President reported receiving Certificate of Chapter of the Year.
MCPOCG Welch provided information of how much CPOA contributed; $113,000.00 donated; over 33,000 manhours donated; information provided from the 21 Chapters that responded.
MCPO White Memorial Service
Service to be held at Academy Chapel and will begin at 1000.
Honors Presentation will be held on parade ground following the service.
Reception to follow at “O” Club
Discussed articles for Chief’s Magazine.
Juvenile Diabetes
CPO McCarthy expressed thanks for the donation to juvenile diabetes.
MCPO White Memorial Service was a complete success and very well put together.
Shirts in; pay SCPO Vogt.
Donated $100.00 to the Cheerleading mixup at Football game.
Swearing in of officer’s to take place in January.
Donation to CDR Hollman – St. Jude’s Charity, $100.00; Accepted.
Thankyou to MCPO D’Amico for the wonderful lasagna lunch……Bravo Zulu.
Holiday Christmas Party; Handed out flyer with information on the event.
The Academy Christmas party will be held 12 Dec. Coat and tie event. DJ.

Committee chaired by MCPO D’Amico to look into holding a CPOA Family Christmas Party at Stonington Lodge.
MCPO D’Amico to cater and a steamship round will be served.
FS2 Terry selected as the Enlisted Aide of the Year. Won out of @400 other personnel form all services. PO Swenson gave up his nomination in orders for PO Terry to participate and ultimately win.
MCPO Creighton had (2) additional Thanksgiving dinners to give to a junior Coast Guardsman or other in need.
Salvation Army looking for help 20 and 21 December for distribution of toys, clothing and food donations. Contact MCPO O’Toole for further information.
MCPO Creighton discussed MSTC Harbuck’s desire to organize a “good will” drive to send care packages to Coasties that are serving over in IRAQ, specifically the 110’ Squadron
SCPO Sinagra (Reservist), donated $100.00 to CPOA for Gunner Tierney hitting the bullseye in the range.
Held 50/50 raffle for MCPO McShan Fund.
